Understanding Onboarding Completion Status
What does onboarding completion status mean?
Onboarding completion status indicates whether all required onboarding steps have been finished. When requirements are still outstanding, the file remains on hold and payroll setup cannot be finalised. When onboarding is completed successfully, the file is updated and the next processing step can proceed.
What is required to complete onboarding?
Completion depends on all required onboarding items being submitted. These include:
- Completed onboarding forms
- WorkPro requirements, where applicable
- Insurance details, where required
- Right to Work documents, where required
- Banking and TFN details, where required
What happens when onboarding is still pending?
If required onboarding items have not been completed, the file remains on hold. Payroll setup is not finalised until the completed requirements are received and confirmed.
What happens after onboarding is completed?
Once the required onboarding items are received and onboarding is completed successfully, the file is updated and forwarded for processing to finalise payroll setup. In some cases, pay cycle details are confirmed in the onboarding email along with login details.
How do I know if onboarding is complete?
A completed onboarding status is confirmed when the file has been updated after all required onboarding items are received. If additional items are still needed, the onboarding process remains incomplete until those items are provided.
Troubleshooting
Why is my onboarding still showing as incomplete?
Common reasons include:
- Onboarding forms have not yet been received
- WorkPro requirements are still outstanding
- Insurance details are still pending
- Right to Work documents are still needed
- Banking or TFN details have not yet been provided
What should I do if I have already submitted my onboarding items?
If items have already been submitted, your file can be reviewed and updated once the completed requirements are received and confirmed.
